The following is by no means a complete list of where to eat in the Yarmouth area, but rather a round up of some favourite personal preferences.

Rudders Seafood Restaurant & Brew Pub – recognized as the social hub of the waterfront. Famous for its delicious seafood, excellent service and spacious wrap-around deck overlooking Yarmouth’s waterfront. The 18th-century beamed ceilings and thick plank floors of Rudder’s Seafood Restaurant are part of the draw.

Gaia Global Kitchen offers a wide variety of globally inspired dishes, including many vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options, as well as some local favourites, burgers, poutines, fish & chips, & tacos.

The Shanty Cafe is a casual dining restaurant that features a variety of dishes inspired by local and international cuisine. Try some of the Cuban dishes like Black Bean soup or Cuban Croquetas. The cafe is a social enterprise that provides meaningful jobs for people who face barriers to employment.

Bubble tea, ramen, sushi, espresso and ice cream are some of the items available at Ice Works Dairy & Espresso Bar, located at 313 Main St.

Sip Café is one of the hippest places in town, with a garage door entrance that opens wide in fine weather to welcome visitors. Over 100 types of teas to try, hot and cold specialty coffees, pastries and thick hearty sandwiches, or salads and soups.

You’ve heard of the famous East Coast Donair? Jake’s Family Restaurant is the best place to sample it. They also serve up panzarottis, pizza, Lebanese food and much more.

The Yarmouth McDonalds is owned by two of the nicest Pierre’s you’ll ever meet. Visit this restaurant for traditional favourites, on the corner of Starrs Road and Main Street.

After a hearty entree at one of Yarmouth’s fine eating establishments, a sweet treat is in order. The Honey Bee Ice Cream Parlour has a long list of incredible creations and introduces new frozen treats on a regular basis.
